The formation of methodology in low threshold club for children and young people

The topic of the thesis is the formation of methodology in a low threshold club for children and young people. The work is divided into six chapters, the first four of which are devoted to theory. The first chapter deals with the general description of low threshold institutions, their concepts, goals, target group and history. The second chapter describes the quality standards of Social Services, which, according to the content of information, are divided into three types - procedural, personal and operational. The next chapter describes concepts such as social disadvantage, social exclusion or socially excluded location and also shows the ethnic minority and the traditional Roma family. The fourth chapter is devoted to social service workers, social workers and special educators in the social service. The research part of the thesis deals with the process of creating a methodological document in a low-threshold institution for children and youth in Šluknov. The institution with its principles of work, goals, target group and frequent unfavorable social situations of clients, where the research is taken place, is described in this part of the thesis. Forms of spending free time of children in Rotava and creation of a proposal for a community center

The diploma theses is focused on free time of children in Rotava. The aim of this theses is to find out the forms of spending free time of children aged 6 - 12 years in Rotava. Another goal is to create a proposal for a community center. The theoretical part deals with the theme of childhood in today's type of society and also with the topic of free time. This section is focused on free time of children and its historical transformation. Then attention is aimed at the current status of free time of children and the factors affecting this area. Another chapter is devoted to community and community centers. The diploma theses also contains the research part. Interviews, non - participant observation in a public area of the town and secondary data analysis were used as research methods. The results of research show that the offer of free time activities for children aged 6 - 12 years in Rotava is insufficient and inappropriately conceived. Many children spend their free time in a public area of the town or at home with electronic media.

The bachelor thesis entitled "How to Workork with Community Center Clients in Excluded Zengrovka Locality Develops Their Potential "deals with the phenomena that occur in this locality as a consequence of social exclusion and activities aimed at their reduction. The thesis consists of the theoretical part and the empirical part. In the theoretical part, I discuss the issue of social exclusion and the role of ethnicity in it. I also follow key competencies that show the perspective of client's potential. The empirical part deals with the specific problems of the development of the potential of the inhabitants of the locality, with the problems of individuals, groups and the whole community. I also deal with the preconditions of a worker in this community center. The aim of the thesis is to analyze specific activities with clients in the Zengrovka community center aimed to getting clients key competencies of the excluded Zengrovka locality.

Social work applied to Roma families from a socially excluded location in Tábor

The objective of this thesis is to analyze the cooperation of social workers involved in social work applied to Roma families in the socially excluded location "Fišlovka" in Tábor, and to outline the possibility of discussed cooperation in addressing ethical dilemmas related to social work with the target group. The subject of this analysis is an attempt to identify the main reservations and barriers of this cooperation and the possibilities of improving it. The thesis also explores the ethical dilemmas that social workers working with Roma families encounter, and the strategies that they most often use to deal with these dilemmas. The thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts that govern the work topic. The practical part offers an interpretation of data obtained through qualitative research that involved nine respondents among social service workers working with the discussed target group.
